Successfully complete IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Rework and Repair of Electronic Assemblies Training. The Senior Inspector performs receiving, in-process, and final inspection on electronic systems, electromechanical assemblies, or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective units or systems. Determines or assists in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection. The position requires communication between production, project management, shipping/receiving, and quality management. JACO Machine Works is an AS9100 certified machine shop supporting the medical, aerospace and semiconductor industries. We are in immediate need of a CNC lathe machinist for our growing operation. This position is for first shift with overtime available who can: • Perform setups and operation of 7-axis CNC lathes, screw machines, and Multi-axis turret machines. • Retrieve machine programs from database, create/read tool lists for job. • Accurately set tools and work offsets. Change tooling as needed to restore operation. • Ensure produced parts meet drawing specifications with standard inspection instruments. • Able to troubleshoot and perform basic edits of G-code to solve problems. • Read CMM reports and adjust machine offsets as needed. • Follow work instructions and communicate with Supervisor. • Train machine operators on any job that you set up. • Deburring of parts when needed. • Perform basic machine maintenance. • Keep work area clean and organized. Required Job Skills: • Must be organized and accurate with documentation. • Familiarity with Fanuc and Mitsubishi or similar controls. • Must have good knowledge of machine processes of manufacturing and problem-solving skills to ensure strict quality/dimensional and cosmetic standards. • Able to work with tight tolerances like +/-.0002” • Must have a strong work ethic and work well with others. • Must have good knowledge of G and M codes. • Must be knowledgeable of GD&T.
