$30-$35/Hr. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Los Angeles, CA)

We are a food manufacturing company in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in the production and packaging of Asian foods such as spring rolls, wontons, fortune cookies, etc. We are seeking an industrial maintenance mechanic. As a maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping facility equipment in good working condition. Responsibilities: • Ensure all equipment repairs and installations are performed in compliance with food safety requirements. • Communicate with the supervisor regarding any issues or concerns. • Ensure mechanical systems are well maintained to prevent downtime. • Ensure all work orders are completed on time. • Perform weekly inspections to identify any deficiencies or concerns and report findings to the maintenance supervisor. • Follow company safety and food safety policies. • Use lockout/tagout procedures when working on equipment. • Assist with other repairs or tasks as needed. • PPE is required. • Additional tasks may be assigned. Requirements: • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience • Electrical experience • Troubleshooting skills • Read, write, and speak English (Spanish is a plus) • Use of hand tools • Problem-solving using collected data • Understand lockout/tagout procedures • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
