Shows proficiency in handling and maneuvering trucks and equipment. • Transports documents, equipment, supplies, etc. to and from customer locations while complying with traffic regulations. • Responsible for safe and proper loading and unloading of trucks. • Performs mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment. • Maintains a responsible approach to all security matters related to operations while following the company’s policies and procedures. • Develops and maintains a relationship with our customers. • Completes all necessary paperwork accurately as required by company. • Maintains cleanliness of truck interior and exterior. • Always maintains personal appearance and truck presentation in accordance with policies. Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. Completing and maintaining reports for managers as required, which may include: Production reports Scrap reports Other duties may be assigned when applicable. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to chip in to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful.
