Position Overview
In essence, a Relationship Manager for a strawberry farm act as a central point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships across the agricultural value chain to ensure the farm’s success and sustainability. They leverage their agricultural knowledge, business acumen, and communication skills to navigate the complexities of the industry and foster enduring partnerships.
This role is responsible for nurturing and expanding connections with key stakeholders, including growers, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers—while also helping to drive operational performance and market expansion. The Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in strengthening our farm’s reputation and financial health.

Key Responsibilities
1. Cultivating Grower Relationships
• Identify and onboard new strawberry growers to expand the farm’s production capacity.
• Maintain regular communication with existing growers to resolve concerns, share updates, and provide guidance.
• Facilitate strategic partnerships with growers and related agricultural businesses.
2. Managing the Supply Chain
• Build strong relationships with suppliers of essential materials (fertilizers, packaging, equipment).
• Negotiate favorable contract terms with vendors and buyers to support farm profitability.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation for efficient, timely strawberry delivery.
3. Expanding the Market
• Explore new sales channels including retailers, restaurants, and distributors.
• Monitor market trends and consumer preferences (e.g., organic, sustainable strawberries).
• Promote brand recognition and support initiatives that foster customer loyalty.
4. Financial Management
• Analyze the financial impact of relationships with growers, suppliers, and customers.
• Monitor loan performance and repayment progress (if applicable).
• Provide financial insights and support to help growers improve profitability.
5. Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate risks to production and market access (e.g., weather, pests, price fluctuations).
• Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural, environmental, and food safety regulations.
6. Contract Farming – Strawberry Production Management
• Communicate with contract farmers on cultivation, production, packaging, and shipping.
• Visit field sites regularly to supervise and support daily operations.
• Conduct R&D to optimize practices for Korean strawberry varieties.
7. Farm Operations Management
• Oversee hydroponic strawberry cultivation in our company greenhouse.
• Supervise field staff and manage farm schedules.
• Ensure operational efficiency across crop health, facility management, and equipment usage.
