Severe Eosinophilic Asthma is a form of severe asthma linked to high levels of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell. Common symptoms include coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath, even when using regular asthma medications. Because of this, many patients require advanced treatments. New targeted therapies, known as biologics, are designed to lower eosinophil levels and help reduce flare-ups.
