About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented PLM Analyst with proven expertise in asbestos testing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) analysis of bulk asbestos samples and have formal training or certification in the field. Key Responsibilities: Perform asbestos analysis of bulk building materials using PLM in accordance with regulatory methods. Accurately identify and quantify asbestos fibers. Prepare and analyze samples with a high degree of precision and attention to detail. Document and report findings in compliance with laboratory quality assurance standards. Work independently or collaboratively within a laboratory team. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience conducting PLM asbestos analysis. Must have completed training through the McCrone Research Institute or hold documented approval/sign-off from another accredited laboratory. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain accurate records. Familiarity with applicable regulatory methods and quality control procedures.
