O’Hagan Meyer, a national law firm, has an opening for a full-time litigation Legal Assistant in its Woodland Hills, CA office. Successful candidates will have 5-10+ years of experience. Familiarity with labor and employment or commercial litigation will be useful. Duties include, but are not limited to, drafting correspondence, editing, and filing pleadings with state and federal courts, scheduling depositions, assisting in preparation and service of discovery responses, assisting in preparation and filing of motions, file maintenance, travel arrangements, research, expense reports, time entry and maintaining attorney calendars. Clinical Assessor
This position requires the candidate to be fully licensed or currently under supervision of a licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, or licensed psychologist). The Clinical assessor is responsible for conducting the initial screening, intake, assessment, and diagnostic impression to ensure that and initial treatment plan is developed that will identify the services needed for ongoing care. Clinical assessors are also responsible for the quality assurance of services provided and medical records, coordinating care with other assigned clinicians, peer support, and medical practitioners, working within the agencies systems of care network. Assessor performs a variety of clinical and administrative work when it has been determined through an initial screening that the consumer has mental health concerns. The purpose of the assessment process is to perform a formalized assessment in order to determine the consumer's problems, strengths, needs, abilities and preferences, to develop a social (extent of natural supports and community integration) and medical history, to determine functional level and degree of ability versus disability, and to develop or review collateral assessment information. He/She will report directly to the program manager. Requirements Work a minimum of 10 hours each week.
