We’re looking for a highly motivated Community Manager to lead and grow the Reese’s Book Club community—starting with our new WhatsApp partnership program and eventually expanding across all social channels. This role is central to fostering meaningful engagement with our audience and strengthening connections with our most passionate readers. Reporting to the brand team and working closely with our social lead, the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in community management, particularly for entertainment brands, and possess a deep understanding of how to build vibrant, two-way conversations in digital spaces. As Reese’s Book Club continues to grow, this role will play a key part in activating our community on WhatsApp—driving conversation around our monthly picks and building engagement beyond the book. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, reinforcing why Reese’s Book Club is one of the most trusted and influential voices in the book space. Responsibilities Include Crafting and executing all content for Reese’s Book Club’s WhatsApp digital community—balancing the RBC brand voice as the book club’s leader while spotlighting authors and other key talent—in close collaboration with the Social and Editorial teams Reading each monthly Reese’s Book Club pick and developing thoughtful community engagement strategies rooted in the book’s themes and relevant cultural conversations Creating in-platform content, programming, and marketing communications for WhatsApp community members that foster meaningful, joyful connection among readers Owning the Reese’s Book Club voice across all community and partnership touchpoints, actively engaging with members to nurture a vibrant, inclusive, and book-loving environment Working closely with cross functional teams to establish KPI’s, optimize engagement and member retention via community based tactics and insights in an on-going manner Who You Are Passionate about books, storytelling, community-driven products, and innovation in the reading space—whether your TBR pile is 4 books or 50 A creative, thoughtful, and analytical thinker who champions the community perspective, monitors KPIs, and generates scalable ideas that grow and energize our membership base A strategic problem-solver who’s proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving, ever-evolving space Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and managing a high-volume workload under pressure A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a talent for building strong cross-functional relationships Deeply in tune with pop culture and entertainment trends—and able to translate them into relevant, timely conversations for our community Comfortable interpreting data and analytics to inform smarter strategies and more impactful campaigns An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a knack for engaging and inspiring others Requirements 3+ years of expertise creating scalable, digital-first, authentic, high-engagement communities Experience translating community sentiment into actionable content formats Experience working on cross-functional teams within complex org structures The pay for this role is $36/hour.
