The Arc of Ocean County is looking for a Recreation Assistant to work in our Family Support Department to provide safe, engaging, and meaningful opportunities for Individuals with disabilities in Ocean County. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Recreation Assistant to work with individuals with disabilities in a social setting. A Recreation Assistant provides opportunities for participants to enhance their quality of life by increasing socialization skills, integrating into the community and participating in recreational activities on site and in their community. We are looking to hire a part-time assistant children's class instructor starting this fall. This is a great opportunity for college age kids, stay at home parents, or anyone looking for some extra income. A background in children's education (daycare, preschool, teaching, etc.) and/or children's athletics (martial arts, dance, gymnastics, swimming, sports coaching, etc.) is preferred but not required.
