Im looking for a landscaper to join my team. I am looking for someone that has basic knowledge of plants. Someone with a professional look. Must be able to follow directions. You must also have a vehicle because we go from one job to the next. The work includes weeding, pruning, trimming, mulching and planting. We also do installations and other work but the majority is flowerbed maintenance. To apply for the job please text me a picture of your drivers license. I will be doing a back ground check. The job starts at $20 an hour and with potential to make more. It is a part time job to start and more hours depends on the season. We are an after school programs in the Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland area looking for instructors, teachers, and coaches to teach classes in our fall programs in schools throughout the area. Specifically, we are looking for instructors to teach at a year long program in Bethesda, Maryland(8617 Chateau Dr, Potomac, MD 20854) The classes run from 1:40 PM -3:10PM. The program starts in late August and runs through the end of June. It is pays between $60-$80 per class. The instructors we are most looking to hire are: -Robotics/Computer Science -Lego Building -Art/Arts and Crafts/Painting -Hip Hop -Cartooning -Chess -Coding -Performing Puppets -Zumba -Fiber Arts -Secret Agent Lab -Science -Fun with circuits -Adventures for boys and girls Requirements We are looking for instructors who have experience working with elementary aged kids, are responsible and flexible, have reliable access to a car (as many of of programs are not located near bus/metro stops), and are punctual and dependable. One of the most important things is not only teaching a fun enriching class, but also following all protocols that exist from school to school. ART 311 CERAMICS I: DESIGNING IN CLAY I is an introductory studio course offering a hands-on exploration of working with clay. Students will learn foundational ceramic techniques with a primary focus on hand-building methods such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, and beginning glazing and firing techniques. Through a series of structured projects, students will address both functional and sculptural approaches to form, examining how utility, aesthetics, and personal expression intersect in ceramic design. ART 312 3D DESIGN examines design as a deliberate process starting with identifying formal elements of three-dimensional design (space, perspective, form, scale, volume, mass, texture, and light) and how to effectively utilize design principles to organize them. Material exploration will include wire, clay, cardboard, wood, and found materials. Skills acquired in this course have direct applications to anyone working in art and design to the majority of us who rely on visual communication in our everyday life. Start and End Date: August 25, 2025 to December 16, 2025 Course Schedule: ●     ART 311 CERAMICS I: DESIGNING IN CLAY - Thursdays | 11:15 AM to 2:20 PM | 3 credits ●     ART 312 3D DESIGN – Thursdays | 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM | 3 credits Requirements A graduate degree (MFA or MA) in Ceramics, Sculpture, Studio Art, or a closely related field. A demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and student engagement Experience in both critical/theoretical and technical/studio aspects of ceramics and 3D design Prior teaching experience in higher education is strongly preferred Proficiency in ceramic hand-building and wheel techniques, 3D design principles, material handling (e.g., clay, wire, cardboard, wood), and the use of tools and equipment related to ceramics and sculpture, including basic kiln operation and safety procedures.
