Estimator (Desert Aire/Mattawa, WA) $32.00 to 35.00 per hour. Monday – Friday On-Site This position is responsible for cost calculations to determine how much it will cost complete a project or provide products and services for the manufacture of doors, cabinets and millwork. ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES -Read and interpret architectural blueprints for information pertaining to cabinet layout and design. -Scale drawings and prepare material take-offs for accurate bidding and pricing. -Assist with creation of technical reports, subcontracts, purchase orders, project updates, and proposals. -Help to identify and resolve deviations from proposals, including scope and specifications. -Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to ensure all costs are captured. -Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done -Maintain consistent and dependable attendance, recognizing that this role requires exceptional dedication to demanding hours and the flexibility to accommodate dynamic schedules. -Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyer.
