We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Insider Threat Advisor to support insider threat programs and related activities within federal law enforcement, counterintelligence, and security sectors. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience advising and collaborating with intelligence community professionals, ensuring the highest standards in threat assessment, management, and security compliance. This position is contingent upon the contract being awarded to RP Professional Services. Responsibilities: Provide strategic oversight and subject matter expertise on insider threat programs and threat management initiatives. Support counterintelligence, federal law enforcement, and security operations focused on preventing unauthorized access and insider risks. Advise leadership on threat assessment methodologies, policy development, and security compliance. Ensure alignment with governing directives, insider threat policies, workplace violence prevention protocols, and eligibility/access determinations for classified and sensitive information. Engage with security, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and insider threat professionals to drive collaborative initiatives. Contribute to the development and implementation of insider threat response strategies within the DOD and Intelligence Community (IC). Requirements Bachelor's degree in any field. Minimum of 20 years of experience supporting insider threat programs or related activities (federal law enforcement, counterintelligence, or security programs). Recent experience at the General Officer (GO) or Senior Executive Service (SES) level, with no specific minimum tenure requirement. Active Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional - Analysis/Fundamentals (CCITP-A/F) accreditation. Strong understanding of DOD Intelligence Community insider threats and law enforcement policies/procedures. Demonstrated expertise in governing directives, insider threat policies, threat assessment, security operations, and criminal investigations. Proven ability to work collaboratively across security, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and insider threat communities. Preferred Qualifications: DITMAC prefers candidates at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service (GO/SES) level willing to obtain the CCITP within the first 90 days of employment. Candidates at the Senior O-6/GS-15 level with an active CCITP will also be considered. Extensive direct support experience within the DOD Intelligence Community or military environments. Exceptional communication and advisory skills for working with leadership, operational teams, and investigative units. Salary Range: $240,000 - $260,000 The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, skill sets, equity, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
