We are currently hiring a full time Specialized Programs Coordinator position at our Pineville center location. This is an onsite position and the applicant must be willing to work between the hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm. The Specialized Programs Coordinator is an experienced behavior technician who is responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of programs and running group times within the specialized programs.  This position is responsible for building/maintaining rapport, group time program implementation, data collection/entry, and keeping up-to-date on programming goals/changes for each learner served. In addition, this position may need to provide 1:1 and/or group therapy to learners based on their individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs based on agency need. Who is ABtA? At ABtA, we understand that ASD has a dramatic and lifelong impact on individuals with this diagnosis and their families. We partner with parents to understand their children by identifying their strengths, interests, and learning styles. Using ABA and other evidence-based techniques, our highly-trained clinicians focus on therapies and interventions that use positive reinforcement to teach the children we support to reach their full potential. We then integrate our services in a variety of settings striving to create the most effective learning experience and promote positive change across all aspects of the lives of the children we serve and their families. By joining the ABtA Admin Department, you will help contribute to the overall success of our learners, centers, and agency through the integral job duties listed below. Essential Functions: Leads group activities and group circle/hangout times across specialized programs. Assists in the maintenance of specialized programs classrooms (returns/cleans up items at the end of group times, changes schedule/slides before next activity, etc.). Assists with overall schedules for specialized programs by starting scheduled group times on time and ensuring appropriate including pace of programming/activities. Collaborates with BCBAs who have learners in the program for items to target during group times and adapts programming based on BCBA requests. Provides group time support for learners within the programs. Reviews effectiveness of programs and materials and collaborates to adapt them to meet varying needs and developmental appropriateness of learners.  Resets program materials for all classrooms as needed including but not limited to: resetting group time charts and materials, changing books for the week,, replacing craft/fine motor activities for the week, rotating toys/activities, checking that all craft supplies are available for following weeks’ activities, ensuring games are organized and have needed pieces, ensuring games are appropriate for all learners and/or implements adaptations as necessary, changes schedules/slides on Google drive. Develop strong relationships with BCBAs and BTs and continuously address concerns as well as check-ins with staff to determine overall program effectiveness and establish a culture of collaboration.  This position may need to render Direct ABA services in addition to the duties above. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required  Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field (such as; Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapy or Counseling/ Social Work) preferred Professional work experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or IDD/DD required  Minimum of 3 years of professional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) work experience required  Professional work experience with children ages 3-7 in ABA setting required  Professional work experience with learners up to age 21 preferred  Previous experience within Early Learner Programs and Older Learners preferred  Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or above required Criminal background check, health care registry check, and drug test. Experience with Smartboards preferred Demonstrated experience across learner profiles and experience across age groups (experience within both EL and ADL programs when applicable) Physical Demands: Must be able to observe and move with children in their natural environments (e.g. ABtA center, home, school and/or outside or in community)  Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children; must be able to sit on floor on ground and move easily in this capacity  Must be able to perform the following gross motor activities:  Climbing (e.g. upon playground equipment)  Bending over (e.g. to assist child with writing or pick up reinforcers off ground)  Squatting (e.g. to assist child putting on shoes)  Running (e.g. running through a sprinkler with a child)  Carrying (e.g. teaching materials, toys, art supplies) up to 15lbs  Must be able to perform the following fine motor activities:  Pincer grasp (e.g. manipulation of teaching PECS icons)  Writing (ex. Filling out paper form with a pencil or pen)  Using scissors and various craft supplies  Grasping objects (e.g. keys, door knobs, etc) Twisting of hands/wrist or fingers (e.g. Tying Shoes, fastening a button, using a zipper, etc)  Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children; must be able to sit on floor on ground and move easily in this capacity  Must be able to lift children up to 50lbs Must be able to utilize safe non-violent crisis intervention techniques with program participants of all ages (raising arms above head to block, stepping back, reaching behind shoulders, etc)  Must be able to teach and assist with toileting skills. (eg. changing diapers, lifting on an off toilet)  Must be able to utilize a company tablet or cellular device (ex.
