Senior Computer Network Support Architect Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA seeking a Senior Computer Network Support Architect. This is a full-time and hybrid position based in Silver Spring, MD. Key Responsibilities Design and implement complex network architectures to support enterprise-level assets. Analyze and optimize existing network configurations for performance, reliability, and security. Lead network design discussions and provide expert recommendations on hardware and software selection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network designs meet business needs and requirements. Conduct risk assessments related to network infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies. MUST have CCA (Cisco Certified Architect) at a minimum AWS Certified solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect or similar certifications are a plus Proven expertise in managing and employing systems across public, private, and hybrid environments Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible Experience with network architecture, Cost optimization, and high availability architectures.
