Beacon Hill's client, a AM Law 100 firm , is seeking a temp Litigation Legal Secretary. Interested candidates should reply to this posting ASAP with an updated resume in Word format. Duration: Ongoing; potential for temp-to-hire if the right fit Start date: ASAP Pay rate - $35-50/hr. DOE Schedule: 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch (37.5 hours/week), Monday-Friday. Location: San Francisco, CA 94104 (Financial District) Litigation Legal Secretary Requirements: At least 5 years of legal secretary experience in a law firm, preferably litigation 2+ years supporting a billing attorney Litigation experience does not need to be current - older experience is acceptable if it's substantial E-filing required (state and/or federal) Experience creating tables of contents/authorities Billing systems: 3E, iManage MS Office proficiency; typing 60+ wpm with accuracy Strong communication, detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines Responsibilities: Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence Case reports, conflict checks, and file openings State and federal e-filing Billing support: review/edit proformas, finalize bills, liaise with accounting Schedule depositions, hearings, meetings, and travel arrangements Handle filing (paper and electronic), scanning, copying, faxing Time entry and reimbursements Provide administrative support for 4-5 attorneys; back up other secretaries as needed Office Environment: About 65 people in the SF office Collaborative environment; secretaries support each other Breakfast or lunch provided weekly (Tuesday and Wednesday) Dress code: "dress for the day" - jeans acceptable, business casual when clients are in Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
