Our law firm is seeking an experienced trial attorney to handle a small trial in Middlesex Chancery Court, on Oct 28. I would expect the trial to last 1-3 days max.

Responsible for taking care of elderly family members and assisting with cleaning, as well as preparing two meals a day

WHAT WE DO • Generate & screen clients • Complete full intake, collect documents, determine violations of federal statutes, then create theory of the case and provide case summaries, legal citations supporting theories, and possible defenses to theories alleged • Draft and prep demand letters and/or complaint and deliver “as is” • Handle all settlement paperwork, signatures, etc. • Deliver you ready-to-file lawsuits (FDCPA, FCRA, CROA, ICFA, and more) WHAT YOU DO • Determine if you want to immediately file the lawsuit (or edit it, if desired) or attempt pre-suit negotiations using our prepared pre-suit demand letter (which you are welcome to edit as well) • Only communicate with clients if desired (some of our affiliates like to verify facts with the client; some close the file without direct client communication) • Settle case (we’re available to assist with negotiation advice if desired) • Keep 1/2 (after costs and client is paid) and send the other 1/2 to us • Typical affiliate attorneys doing around 25% of the “work” are clearing 50% profit sharing on claims • Leverage our systems, technology, methodology, and knowledge to generate instant revenue WHY THIS EXISTS I didn’t build this to practice law. This role will primarily support the commercial contract function, providing review of procurement contracts, brand and marketing, and product development. Responsibilities Draft, review, and revise various procurement-side agreements, including SaaS Agreements, Technology License Agreements, NDA's, DPA's, Service Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements, and Creative Vendor Agreements. Draft, review, and revise various revenue-side agreements, including advertising placement and campaign insertion orders. Update or create legal policies, contract playbooks, processes, and standard operating procedures by collecting requirements from various legal stakeholders. Review, clean up, and close out contract lifecycle management workflows. Update and improve templates and clause libraries. Review and interpret contracts/terms to create legal summaries in support of diligence projects. Web and legal research to inform compliance programs and to educate the department on evolving regulations, policies, and standards affecting the business. Qualifications J.D. with license to practice law in a US state, ideally California licensed. 4+ years of relevant legal experience (may be a combination of in-house and law firm). Strong contract drafting and redlining skills. Experience using playbooks and legal drafting and review standards to review and negotiating commercial agreements. Ability to work closely with members of the legal department to translate feedback into contract redlines and responses. Highly organized with the ability to manage projects from initial idea phases to the final deliverable. A diligent, independent worker with a bias towards action and moving projects and deliverables forward. Our well-established, regional civil litigation law firm needs an experienced paralegal. Experience should include excellent office skills including typing, and knowledge of court rules and procedures for filings, service of process, and related paralegal skills. Experience in commercial and insurance litigation a plus. Hours will be five days a week, 20 - 40 hours a week depending on our needs and your availability. No remote workers please. We are currently seeking a legal secretary or paralegal to assist in our growing caseload. We are located on the Marina in Petaluma, California, 35 miles North of the Golden Gate Bridge. We are looking for employees who like to work hard and have a good time doing it. The ideal candidate has at least three years litigation experience.
