We provide 100% support, including but not limited to research, investigation, drafting and responding to all moving papers as well as a potential settlement proposal to present Opposing Counsel. Manage case calendars and deadlines for multiple cases simultaneously. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information. Assist attorneys in trial preparation and attend trials as necessary. Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the legal team. Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish) not required. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal, with a focus on criminal defense. Strong knowledge of criminal law, legal procedures, and court rules. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
