Manage contracts and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Perform construction estimating and budgeting for projects. Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process. Supervise on-site teams, providing guidance and support as needed. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Utilize HeavyBid for accurate bidding processes related to pipeline projects. Our team works four 10-hour days (Monday thru Thursday) with long weekends, paid time off and paid holidays. We are looking for an experienced handyman who can work independently and alongside team members as necessary, with a clean/active drivers license to operate a company vehicle. We work almost exclusively in the Greater Grand Rapids area. Our handyman work generally consists of framing and finish carpentry, small drywall repair, paint, light electrical and light plumbing. We focus on general home maintenance and repair with the occasional basement, bathroom and kitchen remodel projects--partnering closely with subcontractors to deliver efficiency and expertise in the right areas.
