Commercial Vehicle Welder and Body Work Repair Technician (York)

We seek a full-time, full-line technician with extensive (4+ years) Toyota and/or Lexus experience. Experience in a dealer or specialty import shop is required. ASE Master w/L1 or extensive Toyota/Lexus certifications are also preferred but not required. Everyone at Dan's Toy Shop is here because we like working on cars and helping people, but hate everything else about the car repair business. What You’ll Do - we will train on our setups - MIG welding: short runs by hand, large runs on two Panasonic robotic welding cells - Operate CNC laser cutter and press brake - Program, load, and unload CNC bandsaw - Blast, powder coat, and bake steel parts in the oven - Operate forklift for material handling and loading/unloading trucks - Assist with packing, shipping, and general shop organization What to Expect - Shop environment: warm in summer, cool in winter, physical work daily - Lifting and moving heavy steel parts up to 50 pounds - Small team environment — you will do a variety of jobs in a single day - Weekly pay, flexible scheduling. We don't work weekends.
