We specialize in the historic preservation of residential homes and commercial properties in the greater Portland area. We enjoy creating new living spaces and performing structural repairs and upgrades for our clients. We like demanding projects that are unique and challenging such as house lifting, shoring, rigging, excavation, foundations and structural rough framing / carpentry, water proofing, drainage, etc. The candidate: An experienced quality construction worker eager to perform at their best capability. Ready to apply and learn new building techniques and be challenged along the way. An individual with a strong work ethic and stronger personal values. Someone who wants to be part of a small team for the long term. Long term employment oriented. Structural framing oriented. * All around construction knowledge and safety awareness. * Proper tool arsenal for someone with your experience and wage expectations. * Valid ODL and reliable transportation. No exceptions. * Can lead a small crew, teach a laborer to perform their duty and supervise the progress. A team player. * Able to read and execute architectural and structural engineering plans. * Dependable. Shows up to work daily and on time. * Excellent communication, quick learner, innovative thinker and positive attitude. Detail oriented, organized and accurate. Prioritizes customer service . * Ideal knowledge but not a must for all. Framing, misc. carpentry, shoring, rigging, excavation, concrete foundations, footings and slabs, daylighting, water proofing, drainage. * Does not shy away from duties outside your skillset. The broom, shovel as well as misc shop organizing time are part of the job. * Not looking for a get by paycheck. You seek long term employment.
