Plumbing Department Manager (Fairview)

Environmental Works is a fast-growing, locally owned environmental service company looking to hire a Plumbing Department Manager. Daily duties will include supervision of Dispatch, Plumbers, Drain Techs, and Septic Crew to ensure daily targets are met, daily work is completed within the company’s procedures, policies, and timelines, reporting any work-related issues to operations manager and owners when necessary, and outside sales and marketing for the department. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and demonstrate the ability to identify problems and solve them thoughtfully and decisively. Both written and verbal communication skills with the ability to delegate, motivate, and support department personnel. Responsibilities include: -Organizing, planning, and managing the daily tasks and operations of the department. -Evaluating the departments performance and identifying areas of improvement. -Providing support and direction to personnel. -Ensuring staff members comply with the policies and procedures of the company. -Professional customer communication and interaction representing our Job Done Right ethos. -Working closely with our marketing team to increase department sales & brand recognition within the communities we serve. -Assisting with employee recruitment, as well as overseeing the onboarding process and training of new staff members. -Working closely with the operations manager and owners to ensure overall profitability and success of the department. Must have: -A minimum of 2 years experience in a management role. -An Active Oregon Journeyman Plumbing License - Washington License a PLUS -Solid communication, both written and verbal. -Outstanding team working & team building skills. -Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. -Excellent organizational and project management skills. -Ability to navigate in stressful situations. -Sales and marketing experience is a plus. -Knowledge in residential & commercial sewers, plumbing, drains or underground excavation is a plus. -ServiceTitan experience a plus Job Done Right is our motto and work hard, play hard is our culture.
