Canepa is seeking an experienced Automotive Body-Paint Restoration Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate would have managed a high-level restoration shop and/or owned their own shop and has a thorough understanding of maintaining the highest level of automotive restoration work. This individual must be quality-minded, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of service in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly professional, who can work individually, as well as part of a multifunctional team. We specialize in premium luxury and performance vehicles including, but not limited to: Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, McLaren, and Shelby. Located in Scotts Valley, California, Canepa is central to the Silicon Valley and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Job Description, includes but not limited to: • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and devise and implement a business plan to meet them. • Direct and implement a mutually profitable business environment with all other departments. • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of each project. • Can perform all duties of the restoration body and paint shop. • Assigns work orders; ensuring work is distributed efficiently for the highest shop and technician productivity and standard of repair. • Ensure a safe and productive operation through proper implementations and administration of company policies and procedures. • Provide excellent customer interaction and service. • Ensure and maintain customer satisfaction. • Quality assurance of work performed/deliverable. • Ensure a safe and productive operation through proper implementations and administration of company policies and procedures. • Effectively communicates all relevant project information throughout organization. • Documents all phases of each project (written and photo). Qualifications: • 10 years minimum of related automotive body restoration, paint, and detail experience. • Experienced in all phases of Body Restoration and Paint • Extensive background in Concourse level vehicle restoration and preparation. • Highly experienced with metal and fiberglass body repair and preparation. • Familiar with PPG products. • Strong paint finish restoration and vehicle detailing skills. • Strong Management Experience. • Motivated and fast paced personality with serious work ethic. • Excellent computer skills required (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc). • Excellent organizational and project management skills. • Excellent phone manners, the ability to multitask and make good decisions. • Ability to manage a staff of 10+ employees.
