Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and prioritize the workload of the Automotive technician team, assigning tasks and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely manner. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in Automotive vehicles and equipment. Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance and repair activities while minimizing waste and excess inventory. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Automotive engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Supervises maintenance operations and shop employees.  Plans and distributes the work.  Delegates responsibilities as appropriate and monitors performance.  While involved in reviewing personnel actions (e.g., hiring, promotions and discipline), all such actions are further reviewed and approved by higher management. Supervises bus fueling and vehicle cleaning. Assist with UST record keeping, and reporting requirements associated with fuel logs. Qualifications: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an Automotive technician, with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Automotive engines and related systems.
