Position Overview: We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented problem solvers to join our team. This position focuses heavily on repairs—from patching torn jackets to fixing tents, backpacks, and other outdoor equipment. You’ll also assist with manufacturing sewn products for our in-house line. Must have experience sewing but we’ll train you to work with industrial sewing machines and other equipment. Responsibilities: Perform gear and garment repairs, including patching, zipper replacement, and re-stitching. Diagnose repair needs and develop creative solutions for challenging jobs. Assist in small-scale manufacturing of sewn goods. Operate and maintain industrial sewing equipment, laser cutters, and pattern sewing machines (training provided). Collaborate with team members to meet quality and production standards. Provide excellent service to customers through attention to detail and craftsmanship. Qualifications: Comfortable and confident using a home sewing machine. Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to unique repair challenges. Enthusiasm for learning new skills and equipment. Prior sewing, tailoring, or gear repair experience is a plus but not required. Guardian has a need for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Rockwood Village! Rockwood Village is an affordable apartment community in Gresham, OR with 224 units. The Maintenance Technician II primary role will be to support the Community Managers by ensuring site safety and completion of required property maintenance necessary to maintain excellent curb appeal and the overall appearance and quality of the properties on a scheduled basis. This will include prioritizing and processing work orders which may include both urgent and routine maintenance of property and apartment units.
