Job Description Em's is growing quickly and is currently seeking an ASE certified auto technician who is a self-starter, motivated, and energetic; most importantly has a positive attitude. Em's prefers organized people who are willing to learn and do what has to be done to keep the shop smooth sailing! All applicants must be at least 18 years old and be able to operate all types of vehicles, including manual transmissions. EVS Technician 2

GENERAL SUMMARY The ON-CALL/EVS Technician 2 at Meydenbauer Center is responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness in the facility. Duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and mopping of floors; operation of mechanical cleaners, polishers and/or other floor care equipment; cleaning and stocking of restrooms; and removal of recyclable material and garbage from receptacles. This position assists in providing courteous directions to event guests, vendors and exhibitors as well as participates in on-the-job training of new custodial staff members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Ensures proper storage of all equipment. • Sweeps, dusts, vacuums and wet mops floors. • Cleans, waxes, and polishes floors. Operates mechanical cleaners, polishers or other floor care equipment. • Works safely with a variety of chemicals. • Cleans restroom walls, floors, titles, fixtures and replenishes restroom supplies as needed. • Assists in gum removal and squeegeeing/mopping up liquids, drinks spills in area. • Removes recyclable material and garbage from receptacles and keeps receptacles clean and odor-free. • Cleans debris and waste matter from clogged drains and toilets. • Dusts and cleans the wall air intakes and outlets, light fixtures, sills and ledges. • Vacuums and steam cleans carpets. • Removes fingerprints and cleans partition glass and doors. • Assists in providing courteous directions to guests, vendor or exhibitor vehicles during changeovers. • Responsible for guiding assigned coworkers to complete assigned tasks. • Assist in training new staff members through on-the-job training. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee works throughout the building and is frequently exposed to an assortment of cleaning chemicals, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. On average, this position may vary between 8 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime.
