GENERAL SUMMARY The ON-CALL/EVS Technician 2 at Meydenbauer Center is responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness in the facility. Duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and mopping of floors; operation of mechanical cleaners, polishers and/or other floor care equipment; cleaning and stocking of restrooms; and removal of recyclable material and garbage from receptacles. This position assists in providing courteous directions to event guests, vendors and exhibitors as well as participates in on-the-job training of new custodial staff members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Ensures proper storage of all equipment. • Sweeps, dusts, vacuums and wet mops floors. • Cleans, waxes, and polishes floors. We are looking to add a position for someone with previous experience in commercial construction. Our crews self-perform several trades such as erecting sheet metal (roofing and walls), concrete flatwork/foundations, and light excavation. We want people who want to work for a professional company and take pride in what they are doing. Every job matters, and our customers expect the consistency that we have delivered for 15+ years. We are not looking for people just looking for a paycheck. Currently, are projects are in Snohomish and Skagit County. We do some out of town work but usually only a couple times a year. We are able to offer medical, dental, and 401k. Our employees average 40 hours a week, with minimal overtime. Some weekend work as needed. Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation is required. (no exceptions). Basic job descriptions: *Pre-engineered Steel Erection (no welding required). Bolt up connections. (Must be comfortable working 16'-24' high). *Metal roof replacement/repairs on commercial warehouses. (typically, a 4:12 roof pitch or less). * Forming/setup and tying rebar for slab on grade. Typical size slabs are 500sf-14000sf. *Site work: Backfilling, compacting, setting grade. Light utility work. Drainage. *Concrete: Setup and teardown. 1-3 truckload pours typical, mostly pour back work. Finishing experience is welcomed. *General Labor: Interior demo and cleanup, doweling rebar, compacting. Candidates are expected to have proper work attire, basic handtools, (impact gun, tool belts, hard hat, etc). Please list any certifications you hold. Metal building, erector, sheet metal, excavation, grading, form, forming, rebar, wood framing, steel prefab, pre-fab, commercial, industrial, erection, structural.
