Prepare for tutoring sessions with appropriate materials and resources, and provide written or verbal updates on planning and progress when requested. Support the learning process by reinforcing classroom instruction, helping students understand assignments, and clarifying lesson objectives. Adjust instruction based on student academic needs, developmental levels, and feedback from instructional staff. Use engaging methods, tools, and resources to motivate students and support their progress. Ensure a safe and respectful tutoring environment, following all school safety protocols and expectations. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and communication as directed. Support the enforcement of classroom rules and school policies by reinforcing appropriate behavior and expectations during tutoring sessions. Be available to communicate with students, teachers, and families regarding academic progress or concerns, as needed and appropriate. Build positive, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families to support learning and collaboration. Follow teacher and administrative guidance and assist with additional instructional or supervision duties as requested. Reflect on tutoring practices and apply feedback to improve effectiveness and student outcomes. Participate in school activities, staff meetings, or committees as requested.
