Description

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect who can bridge technical expertise with enablement and influence at scale. You’ll elevate technical acumen across teams, design and deliver technical strategies, and simplify complex security concepts for customers and internal stakeholders. This role isn’t about being “just pre or post sales.” It’s about being a technical multiplier, driving clarity, enablement, and adoption both inside PortSwigger and with our customers. You’ll shape how we scale our technical impact across sales, success, product, and beyond. Requirements What You’ll Do Unblock Strategic Accounts: Proactively identify and resolve technical obstacles that impede adoption or expansion, working hands-on with enterprise customers to accelerate time-to-value and ensure long-term success. Enable at Scale: Create and deliver technical content (guides, playbooks, “101” enablement materials) that raise the technical bar across non-engineering teams. Influence Customers: Run technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution architectures for enterprise security-conscious environments. Architect Solutions: Map and integrate customer stacks, CI/CD pipelines, and workflows with PortSwigger’s solutions, ensuring seamless adoption. Be a Technical Leader: Present at industry events, host technical workshops, and publish thought leadership around AppSec, DAST, and modern security practices. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support to shape messaging, refine product positioning, and drive feedback into product strategy. Mentor and Elevate Others: Support CSMs, Tech Support, SEs, and AEs by demystifying technical concepts and mentoring colleagues, ensuring technical depth across teams. You are a technically sharp, structured, and energizing individual who thrives on impact, experimentation, and teaching others. Technical Background 7–10 years in technical, customer-facing roles (cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or cloud-native environments). At least 3 years in a dedicated Solutions Architect or Principal-level technical role. Strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity. Industry certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP) and/or vendor certs (AWS/GCP/Azure Solutions Architect) are valued. Core Competencies Architecture Fluency – Ability to design, map, and integrate with enterprise customer environments. Enablement Content Creation – Skilled at turning technical depth into scalable enablement material. Experience Showcasing Expertise – Delivered high-stakes evaluations, led POCs, presented at conferences, or created internal tooling and labs. How You Work You learn through building, writing, and teaching. You see feedback as fuel; thriving in iteration and refinement. You prefer high-trust, low-ego collaboration, working closely with GTM and Product without silos. You enjoy being a builder-educator: codifying best practices, raising standards, and helping others grow. What Motivates You Delivering technical value at scale - not just one-to-one, but one-to-many. Seeing others succeed because of the tools, processes, or knowledge you’ve created. Reducing complexity so others can move faster. Being recognized as a credible, approachable technical leader. Benefits Join a team where technical excellence and curiosity are core to the culture. Work on world-leading products like Burp Suite that shape the future of application security. Have the freedom to experiment, publish, and make a visible impact inside and outside the business. Be empowered to influence across functions, from shaping product direction to enabling customer-facing teams at scale.
