SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic maintaining medium, and heavy-duty trucks, to include all heavy construction equipment, which are equipped with diesel engines and other associated equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Service, repair, adjust and test all engines, motors, moving parts and equipment. Inspect equipment or materials to identify the cause of problems or defects. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment. Raise trucks and heavy parts, or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves. Troubleshoot operation problems and determine plan of action to remedy problems. Install equipment, etc. to meet specifications. Complete all necessary paperwork, as required. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. A Day in the Life as a Bilingual Patient Access Specialist: This role works directly with healthcare providers & insurance plans/payers to gather information about a patient’s insurance and the coverage provided for a specific pharmaceutical product. The Bilingual Patient Access Specialist will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues. This position also provides support for Prior Authorizations (PA) for an assigned caseload and helps navigate the appeals process to access medications. The Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks to ensure a building, equipment, or grounds are in good working order. This includes inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various systems and structures, as well as responding to maintenance requests. Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. Responsible for general grounds keeping, repair and maintenance of the facility. Is required to be on-call based on hospital needs. Essential Duties: Fixes electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sheet rock and painting. Performs general HVAC repairs & services. Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors. Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program. Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping. Makes regular inspection of the grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and major equipment, as potential issues. Maintains logs of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Ensures adherence to safety regulations and procedures and infection control requirements. Should be familiar with location of power, water and gas turnoff valves, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants on the property. Cleans up thoroughly after performing work. Notifies Director of Plant Ops and/or members of leadership as directed, regarding any supplies necessary to complete requests. Attends employee meetings and training as requested. General repair and maintenance as well as special functions such as facility cleaning. Participates in drills, maintenance and response to alarms and EOC maintenance related codes. Participates in activities which enhance professional growth and development. Works with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed. Upholds the Organization's ethics and customer service standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and/or Licensure – High School degree (or equivalent). Experience - General experience with plumbing and air conditioning with experience in repairs and maintenance preferably in a commercial environment. Additional Requirements – Must possess or obtain a valid CPR certification and complete de-escalation training prior to completing orientation. Must be available for on-call; weekend, day, and night shifts as assigned.
