We fight for clients injured in 18-wheeler trucking accidents, motor vehicle accidents (MVA), and other complex personal injury cases. We are seeking a highly skilled Trial Paralegal to join our litigation team in-office and support attorneys in preparing cases from intake through trial. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation and trial preparation. Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and trial exhibits. Organize and maintain litigation files, medical records, and case management systems. Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics. Prepare trial binders, witness lists, and courtroom materials. Assist with jury selection, trial exhibits, and attorney support during trial. Conduct legal and factual research as needed. Communicate with clients, experts, and court staff in a professional manner. Requirements Minimum 10+ years of litigation experience as a paralegal in personal injury law. Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal court rules. Proven experience in trial preparation and courtroom support. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player. A Discmaker manufactures rupture discs of the highest quality in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure the best delivery in accordance with all company policies and manufacturing procedures. 2nd shift - 2pm-10pm (but will train on 1st shift 6am-2pm) Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Develop layout and plan sequence of operations to manufacture rupture discs by studying blueprints, shop orders and manufacturing procedures. • Set up and operate required equipment, such as presses, punches, nibbler cutters, hydraulic testers and lifts, dial indicators and precision measuring tools. • Using required equipment, form material to produce rupture discs. • Clean rupture disc components per standard or special cleaning procedures. • Assemble components into completed rupture discs. • Perform burst tests and oven testing on discs. • Inspect completed rupture discs to verify that they conform to specifications. • Work overtime as required. • Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or GED. • 1-3 months’ work experience in a production environment. Previous experience in a production position at CDC is preferred. TECHNICAL / FUNCTION SPECIFIC: • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. • Ability to read blueprints. • Basic math and reading skills. • Working knowledge of industrial equipment used in producing rupture discs.
