Hottel, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing Commercial Service Team. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems. This role is ideal for a technician with strong leadership and troubleshooting abilities, who is committed to excellence in service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems: boilers, chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, split systems, and more. Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions with efficiency and accuracy. Conduct routine inspections to ensure performance, efficiency, and compliance with standards. Document all work performed, including time, materials, and system conditions. Mentor and support junior technicians with guidance and technical expertise. Provide professional communication and service to commercial clients as well as office support staff. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and vehicle. Adhere strictly to company and industry safety protocols. Participate in the on-call rotation; respond to urgent after-hours service needs. Attend scheduled training sessions to stay current with industry and technological advancements. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. · Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical degree or HVAC certification (preferred). 10–15 years of commercial HVAC experience. Strong background in boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems. Master HVAC license or willingness to obtain. EPA certification for refrigerant handling (required). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Excellent mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls. Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety. Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in diverse environments. Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor work at various commercial sites. May involve exposure to heights, confined spaces, and loud environments. Use of ladders, lifts, and safety equipment required. PPE must be worn on all active job sites. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with the willingness to work evenings and weekends if needed. Flexibility for evenings and weekends when necessary. On-call rotation includes $300 bonus and a paid Friday off post-shift.
