RV Technician (Oceanside)

RV Repair Technician Location: Oceanside, CA Schedule: Friday–Monday, 6–8 hour shifts RV Fun Rentals is a growing company dedicated to providing high-quality recreational vehicle rentals and outstanding customer experiences. Position Overview: The RV Repair Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RVs and travel trailers to ensure all vehicles are safe, fully functional, and ready for customer use. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems in a results driven, collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and replace components across multiple RV systems, including: Plumbing: Replace faucets, toilets, and water lines; locate and repair leaks. Electrical: Replace lights, test and replace batteries, diagnose shorts, and test 12V systems. Mechanical: Repair/replace awnings, slide-out systems, and other mechanical components. Coach Systems: Inspect and repair HVAC, propane, and generator systems as needed. Demonstrate and explain the operation and function of RV systems to customers. Conduct thorough inspections, adjustments, and overhauls to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards. Disassemble and reassemble vehicle systems for repair or maintenance. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and inspections. Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Qualifications: Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems accurately. A willingness to learn, take direction, and be a team player. High attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Prior RV repair, service, or manufacturing experience preferred — but not required. Ability to safely operate, move, and park RVs of varying sizes. Requirements: Must provide your own basic hand and power tools. Must possess a valid California driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Must live within 20 minutes of Oceanside, CA or be willing to relocate.
