What we are looking for We are seeking a highly proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven Market Operations Lead for our 30A market. This role is ideal for a hospitality operations leader who thrives in dynamic environments, takes full ownership of their market, and excels at cross-functional communication. You will be responsible for leading key operational initiatives, managing inspections and permitting, supporting homeowner follow-ups, and helping execute strategic projects that drive excellence in property operations and owner satisfaction. This role is designed for someone who is a true self-starter—able to identify issues, bring forward solutions, and follow through without daily oversight. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interfacing with high-end homeowners, project managing complex tasks, and ensuring operational execution at scale. What you'll do You will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities, which may not be an exhaustive list: Take ownership of key operational workflows, such as permitting, inspections, inventory coordination, and field scheduling, particularly for Bay and Walton counties Identify inefficiencies in field operations and bring forward actionable solutions (e.g., consolidating storage units, improving delivery logistics) Track and manage follow-up actions resulting from homeowner calls and walkthroughs—ensuring stakeholder alignment with Revenue Management, Owner Experience, and other internal teams Summarize homeowner meetings and generate case follow-ups, ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation Support high-touch owners by reinforcing strong communication and timely execution of service-related items Assist with project management across field and central teams, helping execute new operational programs and homeowner service initiatives Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal teams and external vendors to support smooth market operations Collaborate with market leadership to elevate team standards and ensure compliance with AvantStay brand expectations Step in to support and guide field staff where necessary, especially during high-volume or high-priority periods Work with field teams on property compliance, inspections, and guest readiness Occasionally represent the market team in homeowner conversations when necessary, using sound judgment and professionalism Requirements What you'll bring 3–5 years of experience in vacation rental, hospitality, or property management, with exposure to high-end or luxury clientele Strong project management experience with ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously Familiarity with permitting and inspection requirements in Bay and Walton counties preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments Proven ability to self-manage, think critically, and follow through without micromanagement Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating operational support for field teams Confidence and professionalism in front of homeowners; experience in luxury service environments is a plus Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where tasks shift quickly and ownership is critical Familiarity with tech tools such as Slack, Google Suite, Guesty, Breezeway, and/or other hospitality operations platforms Valid driver’s license and reliable, market-ready vehicle Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as needed Ability to walk, bend, drive, and lift up to 25 lbs as part of regular property checks and operational execution Benefits Annual salary range of $65,000-$75,000 + performance bonus (dependent on your skills and experience) Generous company-sponsored insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, etc.) Flexible paid time off Complimentary and discounted stays at AvantStay properties Pre-tax retirement savings plans offered via Betterment Paid parental leave Fitness reimbursement Cell phone reimbursement Mileage reimbursement When you join AvantStay You’ll be doing work that matters alongside an experienced and dynamic team, transforming the way people travel and vacation.
