IT Support Engineer – Managed Services / Help Desk Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 Location: Rhode Island or Southeastern MA (local candidates only, no relocation) About the Opportunity Are you the go-to problem solver when technology breaks? Our client, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is looking for a dynamic IT Support Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities Serve as first line of defense for client IT issues — resolving tickets via phone, email, and remote support tools. Provide outstanding Help Desk / Desktop Support and occasionally on-site technical assistance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows servers, desktops, networking, Office 365, email, and third-party apps. Identify root causes, implement permanent fixes, and document solutions. Collaborate with vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues. Maintain accurate time logs, service notes, and client documentation. Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule (after hours/weekends). What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of IT support experience (MSP experience a strong plus). Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), Office 365, and cloud services. Excellent customer service and communication skills — you enjoy helping people solve problems. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be located in Rhode Island or Southeastern MA.
