Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Industrial Hygienist/Safety Professional in Oak Ridge, TN. An active DOE Q clearance or DOD equivalent is required in order to be considered for this position. Navarro Research & Engineering is an award-winning federal contractor dedicated to partnering with clients to advance clean energy and deliver effective solutions for complex challenges in the nuclear and environmental fields. Headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Navarro has active programs in place across the nation for DOE/NNSA, NASA, and the Department of Defense. Duties include but not limited to: - performing project oversight inspections from an industrial hygiene perspective - performing industrial hygiene hazard assessments for construction projects - perform Industrial Hygiene field assessments - determine sampling strategies for construction projects - reviewing safety documents - attending various project meetings - must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle. This will be a full time position of at least 40 hours and some overtime Monday thru Sunday may occur. The normal schedule will be Monday thru Thursday from 06:00 to 16:30. Requirements Active DOE Q Clearance or DOD equivalent. BA/BS plus 20 plus years of direct Industrial Hygiene experience required. The Bus Monitor’s primary responsibility is ensures the safe and orderly transportation of children enrolled in the Head Start program. They assist the bus driver in maintaining a secure and nurturing environment for young children while traveling to and from school and program-related activities. The Bus Monitor supports children in boarding and exiting the bus, manages behavior, and ensures compliance with all safety regulations.
