Your thoughtful observations and questions can lead us back to our core mission and help us identify the key factors that drive student success. How The High School Improvement Team will consist of 6-8 dedicated faculty and student members from various departments and grades within the high school. This diverse team will meet with school leadership to identify areas for improvement, discuss challenges, and provide actionable recommendations for elevating our educational programs. What You’ll Do Engage in focus groups and discussions to share insights on the current state of the school. Analyze feedback gathered from students, families, and fellow staff members. Review historical and current data to identify trends affecting our high school. Develop concrete recommendations for school leaders based on your findings. This special event focuses on fostering creativity and holiday spirit through engaging arts and craft activities for the children who attend Mayfield Market. The Stipend for these 4 hours is $250. Responsibilities: Design and lead hands-on visual arts and craft workshop(s) for children so they can leave the event with a keepsake. Instruct participants on various techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, and crafting seasonal decorations. Facilitate a fun and creative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration among participants. Assist with the setup and organization of the art and craft area during the event. The After Care Program Coordinator oversees all aspects of the after-school program for students in Early Childhood through 8th grade, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment aligned with the mission of SHA. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to create meaningful afterschool programming. Hours are 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Thursday; Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Supervision Plan, organize, and oversee daily after care activities, ensuring they are age-appropriate, inclusive, and engaging for EC–8 students. Supervise, train, and support after care staff and vendors, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Maintain appropriate staff-to-student ratios at all times. Coordinate enrichment programs, including partnerships with outside vendors (e.g., art, sports, drama, STEM). Coordinating with Principal and EC Director dates, activities, with already established afterschool programs such as sports and afterschool Judaic Studies Learning (Mishmar and Mishna classes).
