Stanbridge University's science division is seeking applications for part-time faculty to join the General Education faculty community to provide instruction, guidance, and mentorship to the university's students. Reporting to the program's manager, the candidate will be responsible for providing a culture of educational effectiveness and excellence of student learning outcomes in science education. Paramount to the candidate's success is a deep commitment to the teaching and learning environment, shared governance, and demonstrated experience with high-quality instruction. Essential Functions: Able to teach on-campus with a course assignment in: Anatomy and Physiology Effectively delivers class instruction utilizing course syllabi and appropriate educational resources. Delivers learning-centered instruction by establishing a classroom environment conducive to student learning and engagement while effectively planning and preparing for instruction and student success. Promotes student success by showing flexibility in style and strategies as well as exhibiting a passion for teaching and engaging students in the learning process. Assesses student work in a timely fashion and conveys feedback to students. Manages the learning environment by keeping accurate records, submitting grades and other reports on time, and administering academic and attendance policies. Participate in programmatic shared governance. Qualifications: MUST be willing to commute to at least one campus, but high preference if candidate can travel to more than one campus, NOT looking for remote only. A graduate-level or terminal degree in a science discipline from an accredited college or university. Instructors must have at least 15 semester credit hours (or equivalent) in the subject area they teach. A minimum of two (2) years' experience teaching adult learners in higher education preferred. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. Action oriented, innovative thinking, and flexible. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within a deadline-oriented environment. $35-$50/hr. Salary is dependent on experience and education. This individual is responsible for architecting and administering the following environments: Linux and Windows server environments Dell SAN and Tiered NAS storage solutions VMware / vSphere environment Data networking (routing and switching including Cisco 9000 Series) Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions Backup and replication configuration and testing Palo Alto SDWAN and NGFW environments Other duties as assigned Requirements 8+ years professional experience performing duties of a datacenter engineer CompTIA Security + (Plus) Certification Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server environments including experience managing Active Directory In-depth working knowledge and experience with VMware / vCenter / vSphere General working knowledge and previous experience supporting Windows Server Failover Cluster (WSFC) services Expert understanding of LAN/WAN principles and protocols, including BGP routing In-depth experience designing, deploying, and managing firewalls A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Demonstrated attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills   Candidates meeting the following criteria will be preferred: Active DoD TS/SCI clearance Candidates with OCP Red Hat experience will be highly preferred Experience managing Palo Alto and Panorama firewalls Direct experience configuring and supporting Dell Powerscale, Powerstore and/or Unity In-depth knowledge and experience with Cohesity or Veeam backup solutions Experience with VMWare compute, storage, and network configurations Experience with on-prem, hybrid and cloud environments supporting kubernetes environments *Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.
