Phillips Commercial division is looking for a road warrior in Alabama. This Field Service Engineer role is vital to our customers,  in delivering imperative maintenance to CNC machinery so their operations can continue to flow. In this role, we'll equip you with a van, full set of necessary tools and a Haas certification so you can facilitate installation of equipment, investigating, and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminate future operational or service difficulties.   How will you contribute mightily to the Phillips mission daily? By installing new or modified equipment at the customer’s facility and ensuring full functionality according to specifications. Analyzing, reviewing and inspecting findings to determine the source of problems, and recommending repair, replacement, or other corrective actions. Coordinating problem resolution with factory or Phillips inside service support to expedite repairs. Providing on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. Updating and completing current incomplete service reports to reflect accurately and completely the work performed. Providing feedback to the factory to help update and make changes to the service procedure used in troubleshooting and completing repairs to the machine in the field. Providing a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer. Conducting training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrating skills to trainees, including both team members and customers.   What legendary skills will you use to help create audacious Breakthrough accomplishments? This role requires 80% road travel! Experience: Experience with maintenance on CNC machines. Valid driver's license. Abilities and skills: Ability to travel on the road up to 80% of the week with possible overnight stays between Monday - Friday. A high mechanical aptitude with some electrical knowledge. Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally.
