We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to keep our buildings safe, functional, and operating at their best. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a wide variety of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across multiple trades—helping us create a safe, clean, and efficient environment every day. What You’ll Do Perform general repair and troubleshooting across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on building systems, fixtures, and equipment. Safely operate ladders, power tools, and diagnostic instruments to complete daily tasks. Interpret and work from basic blueprints and building schematics. Install, maintain, and repair locks and door hardware to ensure facility security. Carry out light electrical work (e.g., replacing outlets, switches, ballasts, and fixtures). Address plumbing issues including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures. Travel between multiple sites as needed to support facility operations. Requirements What We’re Looking For Technical Skills Broad experience in repair and troubleshooting (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures Ability to read and work from basic building blueprints and schematics Skilled in tool and equipment operation (ladders, power tools, diagnostic tools) Experience with lock and door hardware installation and repair Working knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations Physical Abilities Comfortable lifting/moving heavy objects and equipment Able to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and perform manual tasks for extended periods Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Attention to detail with a safety-first mindset Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach Reliability and self-motivation Other Requirements Ability to travel between multiple sites (if required) Valid driver’s license (if travel is part of the role) Basic computer skills for maintenance logs and work order systems Must supply personal tools for daily use Benefits Pay Rate: $23 per hour Part Time Schedule: Tuesday - Friday - 5 hours per day
