Requirements Who you are: Master’s degree in school counseling or related field 3+ years experience as a School Guidance Counselor and certification preferred A passion for the mission of the Harlem Children's Zone Promise Academy Charter Schools Must have strong organizational and communication skills, verbal and written  Ability to work with parents, students, faculty, support staff, external government representatives, as well as school community groups Understanding of different student maturity levels Ability to help students gain awareness of their interests and abilities and to help them manage their behavior and thinking processes Understanding of test construction and ability to interpret educational test data Knowledge of grade test targets Ability to evaluate a student transcripts Ability to plan, organize, and implement meetings involving a variety of topics and personnel What you'll do: Conduct evaluation sessions with the students, using interviews, counseling sessions, interest and aptitude assessment tests, and other methods to evaluate and advise students, guardians, parents, and teachers Counsel individuals to help them understand and overcome personal, social, and/or behavioral problems affecting their educational, physical, social and/or emotional situation Provide crisis intervention to students when difficult situations occur at school or at home Help students prepare for their transition to the next grade level Consult with and serve as a resource for students, guardians, parents, and teachers regarding the developmental needs of students, including determining priorities for students and their resource needs Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure that students are academically on grade level Facilitate the integration of the guidance curriculum in the educational curricula Complete written reports as needed or as requested by Principal Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations Participate in the evaluation and revision of the school guidance program Attend meetings, conferences, and in-service trainings to keep abreast of best practices and professional trends Identify cases of domestic abuse or other family problems and encourage students, guardians or parents to seek additional assistance from HCZ staff and/or outside professionals Provide special services that teach students how to handle conflicts in their environment Conduct follow-up interviews with counselors to determine if their needs have been met Perform other duties as assigned   Benefits Our exceptional benefits include: Generous paid time off, including sick and personal days No-cost health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) 403(b) retirement plan Annual performance bonus The Guidance Counselor salary ranges from $70,000-$75,000. Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times. Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures. Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner. Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied. Check dish machine at the beginning of each shift for chemicals and refill as needed. Maintain dish machine after each meal by thoroughly cleaning and maintaining sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels. Record temperature and sanitation levels into the temperature logs before each meal. Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned. Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies. Assist cooks and wait staff as requested. Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals. Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service. May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Requirements Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive demeanor and “can-do” attitude. Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction. Summary   Oversees the daily functions in the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure the continued flow of product to include inspecting the equipment and making the appropriate adjustments to maintain, diagnose, and make the chemical changes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitors control panels and wastewater equipment and making the appropriate adjustments to valves to regulate flow of product. Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings. Always wearing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as assigned in your work area. Follow USDA regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF program for product performance and safety. Requirements Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. You will support the full recruitment process from sourcing to hire while also assisting with onsite technical auditions for stylists (training provided). This role is hybrid and requires regular in-person availability in Dallas, Plano, and Arlington, with occasional travel to Houston. Because our stylist training cohorts often begin over the weekend, weekend availability is required. Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed. Continuously improve recruiting processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a customer service-facing role (experience in beauty, retail, or hospitality is a plus). Based in Texas with reliable transportation to visit salons and attend events in Dallas, Plano, Arlington, and occasionally Houston. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with recruiting platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and ATS systems (Workable preferred) or other computer systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Comfortable learning new systems, receiving feedback, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
