Our Transaction Advisory team offers support by providing valuation, due-diligence, and transaction consulting expertise—helping clients ensure they have the right information to make informed decisions. As an Intern, you will assist on several buy/sell side due diligence projects with oversight from our fast-growing team and have the opportunity to see how we communicate and collaborate with our offshore resources. You will assist with specific procedures and analyses within our Excel-based workbooks by converting raw data into actionable insights. Responsibilities Complete a case study over the course of the internship and present key findings to team leaders Gain exposure to a variety of industries, including healthcare, software, manufacturing, construction, and professional services Apply Excel knowledge by building dynamic and linked financial statements and models Convert large amounts of data to Excel and format to BTG standard Shadow client meetings to build an understanding of client relationships Review and extract data from QuickBooks or similar ERP software Conduct financial analysis and build financial models (cash to accrual) Apply foundational technical accounting concepts centered around GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles Additional special projects as assigned Requirements Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements Completion of corporate finance or some accounting coursework Detail oriented with sound organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook Exemplary communication (oral and written) Motivated to creatively serve clients Desire to be a team player Benefits Boulay Offers Boulay Buddy Program Department Point Person   Intern Appreciation Event Employee Appreciation Activities Live Training & Development Programs Robust Technical Video Training Library Open Communication at All Levels Feedback Discussions Internships are paid, full-time experiences which run June – August in our Minneapolis, MN office.We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes. We are looking for highly skilled metal stud framers to join our manufacturing team. As a metal stud framer, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, selecting suitable metal studs for framing full wall panels, with rough openings, backing and installing single sided sheathing, as well as finishes and accessories. You may also be required to oversee general construction trainees and MEP technician. To ensure success as a metal stud framer, you should possess extensive experience in metal stud framing, drywall, ceilings, finishes and contribute expertise to our team. Outstanding metal stud framers take pride in the quality of their work and can supervise other construction team workers. Requirements Metal Stud Framer Responsibilities: Reading plans and specifications to determine installation requirements and procedures. Utilizing equipment and tools, including rolling scaffolding, ladders, tape measures, straightedges, hand tools, and power tools. Placing reference and layout lines and points to set metal wall panels and finishes. Installing and verifying vertical metal studs, RO’s and horizontal block outs to frame wall panels and attach wallboards. Measuring, cutting, fitting, and fastening wallboard, t-bar, and finish components. Installing metal framing and frames/trim for windows, doorways, and vents. Supervising general construction workers And MEP tradesman, when required. Ensuring compliance with M3C quality, building codes and safety standards. Metal Stud Framer Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Apprenticeship or equivalent training in the construction industry. 2+ years of experience in metal stud framing. Experience in a production, modular or volumetric environment is a plus. Experience in working with specialized tools such as hammer drills, pneumatic nailing guns, and cutting torches, etc.  Stud roll forming experience would be ideal. Exceptional ability in planning installations and taking accurate measurements. In-depth knowledge of fasteners, such as screws, anchors, and connector hardware. Extensive experience in installing drywall, shear, fire rated walls, tile, doors and finish. Keen attention to detail and knowledge of generally accepted construction techniques. Physically fit and able to move or lift construction materials and assemble equipment. Thorough knowledge of construction industry safety specifications and regulations.
