About the Role Responsibilities:  ·        Provide engineering design through AutoCAD and Civil 3D, while receiving training and mentoring from your Project Manager and team members. ·        Assist in the approval and development of public and private projects. ·        Collaborate and coordinate with other internal disciplines on projects. ·        Work on Galloway’s real-life projects   You will love our Full-Spectrum Approach™! Compensation: $23.01 /hr Worksite Location: Varies Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm or 7:30am-4:30pm Overview/Job Summary: The High School Advisor plays a crucial role in connecting high school students with educational opportunities at WSU Tech. You will actively work towards promoting clear pathways for academic success, transitional support, and career exploration for high school students looking to pursue their post-secondary education. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Engaging with high school students to provide guidance on academic pathways and career options. Supporting students through the enrollment process, facilitating communication about college services and resources. Assisting in developing and implementing programs that promote college readiness. Maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress, reporting findings to the appropriate departments. Collaborating with high school administrators and teachers to coordinate outreach efforts. Providing presentations and workshops to inform students and parents about available programs and resources. As a High School Advisor at WSU Tech, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact by helping students navigate their educational journeys. Your guidance will empower high school students to take the necessary steps toward achieving their academic and career goals, fostering a healthier and more informed future generation. Requirements Education: Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in educational settings, especially with high school students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with student services software is preferred but not required. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for outreach efforts.
