In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to assist in delivering therapy services to individuals with communication disorders. Responsibilities Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and evaluations of bilingual patients Implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist Provide therapy sessions in both languages to enhance speech and language skills Monitor and document student progress Coordinate with families and caregivers to educate them on communication strategies Collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care Requirements State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Fluency in English and another language (Spanish preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Willingness to follow directions and work under supervision Desire to expand knowledge and skills in the field of Speech Language Pathology Benefits Contract opportunity- 1099 45 -55 per hour

You will actively work towards promoting clear pathways for academic success, transitional support, and career exploration for high school students looking to pursue their post-secondary education. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to: Engaging with high school students to provide guidance on academic pathways and career options. Supporting students through the enrollment process, facilitating communication about college services and resources. Assisting in developing and implementing programs that promote college readiness. Maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress, reporting findings to the appropriate departments. Collaborating with high school administrators and teachers to coordinate outreach efforts. Providing presentations and workshops to inform students and parents about available programs and resources. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with student services software is preferred but not required. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for outreach efforts. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered. Related work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Requires an initial 24 hours of training in RCRA hazardous waste operations, OSHA and RCRA emergency response training. Ability to understand and apply detailed written and oral instructions, documents, and procedure manuals.  Ability to identify the hazardous materials for the work area, their proper safe usage, and the health hazards of applicable substances. Ability to use a computer. Certified forklift operator, or able to obtain certification.   Work Environment for a Recycling Technician 1: Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion.
