Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings. Provide supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms when required. Inspect facility for proper operation of lights, appliances, doors and furniture, report or replace discrepancies found. Ensure dormitories and rooms are ready and available for occupancy and inspect rooms and facilities with incoming and outgoing units to ensure facilities are in a safe and serviceable condition. Remove and replace furniture, mattresses and appliances as needed.
