Key Responsibilities: Manage employment law cases from initial client intake through to resolution. Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and legal memoranda. Conduct and defend depositions; attend and represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings. Provide strategic counsel to clients on compliance with state and federal employment regulations. Handle cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and retaliation. Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and courts. Collaborate with colleagues while independently managing your own caseload. Requirements: Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Experiences: Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing employment law. Other: Active license to practice law in New Jersey is mandatory. Strong knowledge of federal and NJ employment statutes (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, NJLAD, CEPA). Litigation and courtroom experience is highly preferred. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
