Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater) Overview: Well-established Heavy Civil Contractor in Arizona seeking a Project Engineer with Water/Wastewater experience (Strongly preferred local in Tucson area). This role provides critical support to project staff, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget while overseeing key construction and engineering tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assist with scope of work, bid package development, and contractor/supplier solicitation. Support pre-construction and ongoing project meetings. Maintain and distribute weekly project schedules. Track permits, drawings, and submittals; process change orders and back charges. Record daily/weekly labor, equipment, and job cost quantities; code delivery tickets for payment. Generate and distribute production and cash flow reports. Assist with project closeout (final quantities, change orders, agreement releases). Requirements: Knowledge of production methods and resource coordination. Ability to interpret plans and specifications. Strong follow-through on delegated tasks. High-quality, accurate, and timely results. Adaptability to shifting priorities and multitasking under pressure. Willingness to travel. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Master’s preferred). Experiences: Water/Wastewater plant construction experience (preferred). Must has experience in Heavy Civil in Arizona  ADOT/CMAR experience with construction firms (a plus). Proficiency in Excel, Word, Suretrax (Primavera), Prolog/Expedition, CAD, or design software (a plus). Strong knowledge of CSI codes, specs, and standards. Other: Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
