Qualifications: + Landscaping experience is strongly preferred. + Current drivers license is required. + Ability to follow instructions, lift, carry, push-pull 50lbs, work long hours on feet, and work in inclement weather. + Willingness to learn proper operation and maintenance of small machinery and hand tools, awareness of safety methods and PPE required for operation. + Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English. + Comfortable using mobile apps and radio communication for reporting and tracking. + Demonstrated leadership skills. Schedule: Full-time availability with the possibility for year-round work. Typical work week is Monday thru Thursday, 10 hours per day on average, with the option of Friday work as needed. Job title(s): Crew Worker & Crew Leader Grass Masters Lawn Management in Conyers currently has a crew leader and crew worker position available. We are looking for people with experience and motivation. Experience will dictate hourly pay rate with possible bonuses. Must have experience with commercial equipment. MUST HAVE OWN RIDE OR DRIVERS LICENSE. Hours: 32-40+ hours a week. You will get most Friday’s off. You are able to sharpen blades or do extra work for extra hours on Friday’s if requested and the work is available. Pay can range between $16-$18/hr and possibly more for the crew leader position once experience, work ethic and reliability is established. Job description includes but not limited to: -Drive Iszuzu cab over -Learn and keep up with daily routes. -Communicate with customers on owners behalf when they are not present. -Mow lawn using a commercial riding lawnmower. -Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. -Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. -Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth. -Blow driveways and walkways of debris. -Trim shrubs and pull weeds. -Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping. -Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed. -Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
