We are a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of Ergonomic Interactive Technical products for various industries. Our customers include Medical/Healthcare, Public Safety/Mission Control, All Government Agencies, IT and Financial Corporations. Job Description The General Laborer will work well independently, with a team and collaborate with people from other departments in a factory. This role will have the opportunity to participate in multiple areas of production, facilities maintenance, and other areas while development multiple skill sets and a long-term career. Responsibilities: Possess critical thinking ability, be detail-oriented and meticulous in the execution of their tasks Discern quality of parts and materials used in production. Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process. Follow company procedures and directives. Maintain the tools used to create products. Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace. May perform other duties in other departments as assigned by management Required Professional Skills: Good communication skills Must be able to adhere to company guidelines and quality standards Physical ability and competence in the use of various manual and power tools Must possess the visual acuity to discern between small parts and colors Ability to create and interpret technical documentation Willingness to work in other departments, or as requested. Be able physically to stand and move for 8-10 hours and lift up to 35 lbs. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute across multiple functional areas Qualifications High school diploma or GED Vocational training or similar education preferred Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or similar environments preferred Hours This is a full time, hourly position Work hours: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, Monday- Friday Other hours, as required Compensation AFC Industries offers competitive wages, a health benefits.
