Seasonal Salt Truck Driver Wanted (NorthShore)

About the Position: We are seeking reliable and hardworking Salt Truck Drivers to join our snow and ice management team for the upcoming winter season. This is a seasonal position that requires flexibility, dedication, and a strong work ethic to help keep roads, lots, and walkways safe during winter weather events. Responsibilities: • Operate salt truck to spread de-icing materials on roads, parking lots, and designated areas • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment • Safely load and unload materials • Respond promptly to snow and ice events, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Requirements: • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required) • 24/7 availability during winter storms, including holidays • Previous experience operating trucks or snow equipment preferred • Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs if needed • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently Compensation: • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Seasonal employment with potential for recurring work each year How to Apply: If you are interested in joining our team, please apply online at https://destefanolandscape.com/join-our-winter-team/
