Part Time Facilities Coordinator (NYC)
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a company’s physical infrastructure, ensuring the work environment is safe, well-maintained, and running efficiently. This role acts as a liaison between employees, vendors, and management to coordinate maintenance, repairs, office space planning, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee building maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections.
Manage service requests and work orders, ensuring timely resolution.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and building management for facility-related services.
Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facility inventory.
Assist with space planning, office moves, and furniture setup.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Maintain facility records, including invoices, contracts, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
2+ years of experience in facilities management, office administration, or a related role.
Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and move light equipment or furniture if necessary.
