About Us: Founded in 2012, Tidy Gnomes is a queer, women, and BIPOC-owned business providing personalized, eco-friendly, and compassionate home care. We bring joy, comfort, and a touch of magic into every space we serve, while building community and making a meaningful impact. We also donate free cleanings to BIPOC individuals who may not typically have access to this type of service. Why You’ll Love Working With Us: - Inclusive & supportive culture valuing kindness, respect, and accountability - Regular pay increases, steady clients, and long-term opportunities - Health insurance, paid time off, paid sick time, retirement savings - Monthly massages, birthday pay, work anniversary pay - W-2 employment, eco-friendly supplies, snacks provided What We’re Looking For: - Professional experience: Prior paid house cleaning experience (required) - Reliability: Dependable, punctual, consistent, communicates clearly, and follows through - Strong work ethic: Takes pride in quality work every time - Cleaning skills & technique: Knows how to clean efficiently and thoroughly, understands proper use of cleaning products, and can manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality - Detail-oriented: Notices baseboards, pet hair, fingerprints, cobwebs, and other small details - Independent & self-motivated: Comfortable working solo and managing your time - Problem solver: Takes initiative and asks for help or clarification when needed - Job Physical Demands: Able to perform the essential duties of the job, including several hours of cleaning tasks such as bending, lifting, scrubbing, and reaching - Respectful & inclusive: Kind and professional in clients’ personal spaces - Feedback friendly: Open to learning and continuously improving Pay & Compensation: - Training: $19/hr + 100% of tips, daily mileage reimbursement, paid drive time - After training: Starting at $20/hr + 100% of tips, daily mileage reimbursement, paid drive time - Pay increases with performance and time with the company Requirements: - Prior professional cleaning experience required. - Reliable car, valid driver’s license, active insurance, and smartphone - Background check in compliance with Oregon law - Availability: 10–20 hours/week to start. Candidate must be able to take on additional hours as our Eugene clientele grows, with potential for full-time work.
